WORKING WITH ADULTS AND YOUNG PEOPLE

HOW CAN I HELP YOU?

Thank you for visiting my website.  As a qualified Counsellor I can offer a safe, confidential space for you to talk through any issues that are worrying you.  I work in an integrative way, which means that I combine different approaches to counselling.  This  means that we can work together to find the best way forward for you.  I understand that finding the right counsellor can be a daunting prospect.  My aim is to make this as straightforward as possible for you.

I will take the time to really listen to you and give you the opportunity to explore what is going on for you.

I am able to work with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety and self-harm.  I have specialist training and experience of working with people who are experiencing loss and bereavement and I currently work with people who have experienced domestic abuse.  I am also passionate about working with young people.  Please have a look around my website for more information and contact me if you have any questions.

WHAT CAN I OFFER YOU?

I can offer you a free 30 minute initial session where we can discuss the best way forward for you.  There is no obligation for you to carry on seeing me and I will do my best to refer you to other services if this is what you would like.

I work from home and have a comfortable, private room dedicated to my therapeutic work.   I live on a busy bus route and there is plenty of on-street parking outside of my house.  My room is on the first floor but I can arrange to see you in a ground floor room if stairs are a problem for you.

I am an Accredited member of the National Counselling Society and follow their ethical guidelines.  For more information on this please visit www.nationalcounsellingsociety.org.
