We will all experience loss at some point in our lives, often through the death of a loved one.  I understand how life changing this loss can be and how painful the grieving process is.  I offer a safe, supportive space for you to explore your grief and to allow you to understand your feelings and emotions.

I have experience of counselling people who have experienced a traumatic loss (e.g. sudden death or suicide) or who are experiencing complex grief through my work with a local bereavement charity.  Often grief can be so debilitating that everyday life can feel overwhelming.  Counselling can help you to move forward and find joy again.

For some people loss can be experienced in other ways such as the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, retirement, empty nest syndrome and loss of identity due to ill health (either yours or the person you care for).  Often feelings of grief associated with these losses can be just as debilitating.

Please contact me to arrange a free initial 30 minute session to discuss your needs.
